What Should I Wear?
Our ultimate advice is to wear what makes you feel best! We recommend dressy attire that allows you to move comfortably, as the event will take place throughout the three floors of the museum. We also ask that you avoid wearing white, forest green, or royal purple, as these will be the colors worn by the brides. If you want to avoid blending in with the decor, please note that the tablecloths will be black. The overall color scheme will be vibrant jewel tones against a dark background: mulberry red, sunset orange, royal blue, emerald green, and plum purple.
Is There Parking at the Venue?
Yes! Parking is ample. We recommend arriving by 4:30 p.m. to allow for outgoing traffic and making your way into the building before the ceremony begins. The best entrance to use is through the Sundial Plaza, which can be accessed by following the Owl and Eagle Path from the main parking lot.
Can I Go To the EcoTarium Before the Wedding?
Absolutely! The EcoTarium will be open for ticketed customers until 4:00 p.m. on the day of our wedding. You'll have access to most of the museum during the wedding, but we highly recommend stopping by to see the areas that won't be available to guests after the ceremony begins, which include the Wild Cat Station, Worcester Railers Explorer Express Train, North American River Otter Pool, and woodland walking trails.
Where Can I Stay?
Hotel blocks have been secured for guests to book rooms at a discounted rate. Please refer to the travel page for nearby hotel offerings. You can also check out vacation rental sites like AirBnB or Vrbo.
Are You Allowing Kids?
Yes! The venue is both kid- and adult-friendly, so we encourage you to bring them or take the night off! We only ask that you reach out to us to confirm if your children will be attending so we can ensure proper food accommodations.
Is the Venue Accessible for Guests with Limited Mobility?
It sure is! You will enter the venue on the third floor and elevators are available to reach lower floors. The outdoor area that we will primarily be using is directly outside the first floor.
What Is the Animal Encounters Event?
The animal husbandry professionals at the museum will host a station with their resident chinchilla during the mocktail and exhibit exploration hour. They will be available to any guests who are interested in guided interaction and learning more about their furry friend. Indoor animal exhibits will also be available to guests during this time. All guests will be respectful of animals.
