August, 2021 - A few months after we met, we went on our first of many camping trips, this time to Old Orchard Beach to celebrate Emily's birthday. We had a blast at the local carnival. Enjoying the outdoors has always been one of our favorite ways to spend quality time together.
February, 2022 - We adopted Eula, our youngest and spunkiest cat, to join her older brothers, Walter and Chazzzy. We have a combined total of over 12,000 pictures of our cats!
August 22, 2022 - We celebrated the last fireworks display of the season on the beach with forever on our minds. It's become our tradition to seek out new fireworks shows every summer. Little did we know this date would become the date of our wedding four years later!
October 22, 2022 - We got engaged on the banks of the Hudson River in New York. There must be something lucky in the number 22! That weekend, we celebrated Halloween (Melanie's favorite holiday) in the legendary Sleepy Hollow Village. We returned to Sleepy Hollow in 2024 to commemorate the occasion.
May, 2023 - After a "quick" 12-hour flight, we landed in Honolulu on the Hawaiian island of Oahu and got some pretty gnarly sunburns on our first day there. Still, that trip remains as one of our most magical adventures.
November, 2024 - We buy our first house together in a brand new city, a leap that will last a lifetime. Funnily enough, we came across it after going on a treasure hunt nearby.
May, 2025 - We celebrate Melanie's graduation from her master's program. Emily was the ultimate support system through hours-long commutes, late-night classes, and weekends full of homework.
August, 2025 - For Emily's birthday, we got the chance to visit a local farm and spend some time with goats and this adorable calf. We have always bonded over our mutual love of animals.
October, 2025 - We decided to go mudding in rural Florida mere hours before our flight back home. Melanie ended up flooding the engine and we had to be towed out, but it was worth it! With us, the universe truly brought together two people with the same level of weirdness, and we are forever grateful for that.
